Introduction To The Racing Club

The Northgate Lodge Racing Club is a proprietary club where the predominant aim is to run racehorses for the enjoyment of club members.

Horses are allocated at the discretion of our proprietor & trainer Mel Brittain and Northgate Lodge Stud Ltd who in return for Members' Subscriptions will grant the full package of club benefits as detailed in this website.

The subscription of £135.00 is a fully inclusive payment for a membership period of at least one year.

The Northgate Lodge Racing Club offers excellent value for money and provides a great insight into the world of horse racing for less than £2.65 per week.

Details of the current racing club string of horses are available by clicking the 'Club Horses' link above. We have a mix of flat, national hunt and all weather horses to ensure action under all codes.

As well as proven performers and multiple winners like Bahamian Bay & Granny Peel, we have recruited a quality team of well bred and untried young horses.

As club members, you can be part of the process that sees them progress through their training on the gallops at home until they take their place on the racecourse.

Mel Brittain has assembled an exciting string of racing club horses and combined with the other benefits of membership is confident that we have a package that has something for everyone.

This racing club website has a password protected area for the private and exclusive use of club members. You may choose your own username and password to access the club members area.

The telephone hotline acts as an alternative and companion service to the website. This is not a premium rate number. Calls are charged at normal BT national rates and you will be allocated a PIN number to access the service on 0870 626 0003

The website and telephone hotline will provide regular updates on the progress of the club horses. Photographs and videos will be available online and we want club members to feel part of the training process. As the racing club horses embark on their careers, you can share the journey with them - every step of the way.

When the horses are racing, you will be able to follow them in the distinctive Royal Blue and Yellow racing silks which are the official Northgate Lodge Racing Club colours.

We will offer members our opinion about the chances of the club horses when they race. You will also have the opportunity to attend these race meetings with an owners badge and enter the parade ring and winners enclosure. These places will be decided by ballot and rota should the allocations be oversubscribed.

Northgate Logic - Our Daily Racing Information Service

Northgate Logic is the name of our information service. We have devised a formula that provides a handful of selections in handicaps each day. These should be backed Each Way as many are placed at decent prices in addition to the numerous winners. Obviously not all selections win or are placed but Northgate Logic aims to deliver a long term level stake profit.

Selections are available via the club members website and telephone hotline from 8.00pm each day and recent winners have been at odds of 16/1, 9/1, 4/1 etc. Northgate Logic is an inclusive service to Northgate Lodge Racing Club Members
